The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted annually by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. It serves as a gateway for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech), Pharmacy (B.Pharm), and Agriculture courses across top colleges in Maharashtra. For the academic year 2025–26, the MHT-CET will be conducted in May 2025, with separate exam groups for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). The exam is held in online mode (CBT) and follows the State Board of Maharashtra’s 11th and 12th syllabus, with more weightage given to Class 12 topics.
